Accra: The Greater Accra Regional Branch of the Ghana Muslim Mission has honored its National Chairman, Sheikh Dr. Amin Mohammed Osei Bonsu, for his dedicated leadership and unwavering service to the Mission and the Muslim community in Ghana. The accolade was presented during the official launch of the Ghana Muslim Mission's MoMo USSD code, a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing digital financial inclusion and supporting the Mission's operations nationwide.
According to Ghana News Agency, Sheikh Dr. Amin Bonsu was commended in a citation for his steadfast commitment, strategic foresight, and profound generosity, which have significantly shaped both the Ghana Muslim Mission and the wider community. The citation highlighted his leadership values of service, compassion, and integrity as qualities that have earned him respect both within and outside the Islamic community. It noted that under his stewardship, the Mission has seen increased spiritual engagement, improved collaboration among regional branches, and the successful integration of traditional Islamic values with modern approaches to community development.
His contributions have extended beyond religious duties, impacting health outreach, inclusive education, and support for the underprivileged. The citation praised him as an embodiment of servant leadership, faith in action, and boundless generosity, adding that his impact inspires excellence, accountability, and communal unity. The regional executives also prayed for Allah's continued blessings on his leadership.

The event also celebrated Hajj Abdul Nasir-Deen's appointment as Ghana's Ambassador to Turkey, presenting him with a commemorative plaque. The ceremony brought together regional executives, national officers, and members of the Muslim community, who lauded the leadership and progress within the Ghana Muslim Mission.
