Accra: The Ghana Bloggers Association has extended its commendations to journalists, bloggers, content creators, and workers throughout Ghana, recognizing their significant contributions to national development.
According to Ghana News Agency, this acknowledgment was made in a statement by Mr. Andre Mustapha Nii Okai Inusah, President of the Association, in celebration of this year’s Workers Day. He highlighted the essential role media professionals and the broader workforce play in promoting national development, emphasizing that their contributions are deserving of recognition.
Mr. Inusah praised the dedication of content creators, journalists, bloggers, and media professionals who continually use their platforms to inform, inspire, and influence society. He remarked, “Your work is not just a profession; it is a mission of service, integrity, and empowerment.”
The statement underlined the necessity of innovation and adaptability in the current evolving work landscape, acknowledging the resilience and purpose with which Ghanaian workers confront these challenges. It also called for a renewed commitment to labour rights, fair working conditions, and policies that support inclusive growth and creative freedom.
The message concluded with a heartfelt greeting: “Happy May Day to all workers! Your labour is noble, your efforts invaluable, and your dedication commendable.”
International Workers’ Day, known as May Day, is celebrated globally on May 1 to honor the contributions of workers and labour movements worldwide.
