Former Beige Bank CEO Acquitted and Discharged

Accra: The Court of Appeal has on Thursday acquitted and discharged Mr. Michael Nyinaku, former Chief Executive Officer of the defunct Beige Bank. The court's decision was delivered by a three-member panel presided over by Justice Emmanuel Ankamah.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Nyinaku faced charges including stealing, fraudulent breach of trust, and money laundering. The panel, which also included Justice Dr. Ernest Owusu Dapaah and Justice Kofi Akrowiah, found him not guilty of all charges.

The acquittal brings an end to the legal proceedings against Mr. Nyinaku, who had been embroiled in the case following the collapse of Beige Bank. The decision highlights the court's assessment of the evidence and arguments presented throughout the trial.
