Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar on Friday received Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Reza Raouf Sheibani, who paid him a farewell visit at the end of his mission in Tunisia.
Ammar commended the long-standing relations binding Tunisia and Iran, and thanked the Iranian ambassador for the valuable efforts he has exerted during his tenure in Tunisia and the role he played in fostering bilateral relations, according to a Ministry press release.
He further affirmed Tunisia’s willingness to further scale up cooperation relations with Iran and expand them to promising fields.
