Tunis: The US Embassy in Tunis announced on Tuesday the launch of the call for application for the 2025 -2026 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Programme with the deadline set for July 15.
“This unique, one-year programme is open to professional candidates in the public and private sectors. The Humphrey Fellowship Programme is one of the U.S. government’s most prestigious programmes bringing accomplished young, and mid-career professionals to the United States for a year of non-degree graduate-level study, leadership development, and substantive collaboration with American counterparts, including first-hand exposure to the American work environment, providing a basis for lasting, productive partnerships,” reads an embassy press release.
Interested applicants with a minimum of five years full-time professional experience may apply in one of the following fields: Agriculture, Economic Development, Environment, Urban Planning, Communications, Law, Public Policy, Human Resources, Education, Public Health.
Successf
ul applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible: Tunisian citizenship and residency, a four-year university degree, five years of relevant, full-time professional experience (prior to October 2024) with management and/or policy responsibilities, leadership qualities, potential for professional advancement, and commitment to public service, high level of fluency in spoken and written English.
Deadline for submitting an online application is 11:59 PM Tunisia Time on July 15, 2024.
