Amantin MCE Encourages Health Workers to Enhance Patient Relationships

Atebubu: Mr Thomas Masud Ayarba, the Atebubu/Amantin Municipal Chief Executive, has urged health workers at the Atebubu Municipal Hospital to do more to provide excellent healthcare service to the sick. He emphasized the importance of building personal relationships with patients to boost their confidence and improve health outcomes in the municipality.



According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Ayarba offered this advice during his visit to the Atebubu Municipal Hospital, where he engaged with health workers. He also extended his visit to include interactions with personnel from the Atebubu/Amantin National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and the Municipal Directorate of Health.



Mr Ayarba reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure to enhance service delivery and address some of the pressing challenges faced by health workers and patients. He commended the health workers for their dedication in meeting the increasing health demands of the community and assured them of the Assembly’s support in tackling emerging challenges in quality healthcare delivery.



He explained that his visits were to familiarize himself with the operations of the facilities, pledging to support initiatives aimed at improving patient care and staff development. Mr Edward Oppong Yeboah, the Administrator at the Atebubu Municipal Hospital, expressed gratitude to the MCE and hoped that with his support, some of the hospital’s challenges would be addressed. Mr Bismarck Adu, the Atebubu/Amantin Municipal Manager of the NHIS, also thanked the MCE for his visit.
