Tunis: Under the instructions of President Kais Saied, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, units of the National Army carried out multiple interventions throughout Tuesday, assisting citizens, clearing roads and pathways and pumping water in areas that experienced record rainfall across several regions of the country.

According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, the army's involvement came as a response to the severe weather conditions that have impacted various regions. The heavy rains caused significant disruptions, prompting the deployment of military units to aid in relief efforts. These interventions were crucial in ensuring the safety and accessibility of affected areas, as the army worked to remove obstacles and alleviate the impact of flooding by pumping out excess water.
