South Tongu MP Lauded for Development Initiatives

South tongu: Mr Maxwell Kwame Lukutor, the Member of Parliament (MP) of South Tongu, has been commended by traditional and political leaders of the Kua Electoral Area for his dedicated representation and efforts in addressing key developmental challenges within the constituency.

According to Ghana News Agency, the commendation was made when Chiefs, Queens, Elders, the Assembly Member, and Party Executives of the Electoral Area paid a courtesy call on the MP to congratulate him on what they described as a satisfactory stewardship.

Discussions during the engagement centred on pressing needs of the constituency, which includes the completion of the Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound project, expansion of access to potable water, the provision of additional teachers for the local schools, and the upgrading of the Agave Afedume road.

Mr. Lukutor, in outlining his interventions, said he had facilitated the supply of fertilizer to farmers, intervened in the roofing of the CHPS compound, and maintained close engagement with constituents to ensure their concerns were addressed.

Mr. Lukutor thanked the community for the recognition, assuring them of his continuous commitment to working in partnership with stakeholders to drive sustainable development across South Tongu.

The delegation expressed their appreciation through the presentation of gifts to the MP as a symbol of support and encouragement.
