Accra: Serbia's Foreign Minister, Mr. Marko Ðuric, met with Ghana's Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Alban Bagbin, during a three-day official visit aimed at bolstering bilateral relations between the two nations. The discussions centered on enhancing cooperation through the Ghana-Serbia Parliamentary Friendship Association, a key platform for legislative collaboration and cultural exchange.According to Ghana News Agency, a statement seen on the Facebook page of Parliament said Speaker Bagbin highlighted the role of parliamentary diplomacy in the advancement of democratic governance and sustainable development. The visit underscores Serbia's growing engagement with African nations, with Ghana serving as a strategic ally in West Africa. This meeting forms part of broader diplomatic efforts to enhance bilateral relations between Serbia and Ghana.The statement noted that the two nations were exploring ways to deepen their partnership through mutual understanding, legislative collaboration, and people-to-people dip lomacy.
