Accra: Residents of Adumadum, a farming community in the Krachi East Municipality, have appealed to the Municipal Assembly to reshape their road, which has become a major concern for the community.
According to Ghana News Agency, the residents are urging the Assembly to take immediate action to improve the road's condition, citing the difficulties they face in accessing essential services and engaging in economic activities due to the poor state of the road.
The Adumadum road has been in a deplorable state for a long time, making it challenging for residents to move around. The road's condition has also affected the transportation of goods and services, further exacerbating the economic challenges faced by the community.
Mr. Benard Tafu, a resident of Kunda junction, and others believe that a good road network is essential for the development of their community and would improve their quality of life.
Mr. Pakaissi Essoreke has highlighted the challenges posed by the deplorable road network to the Ghana News Agency (GNA). According to him, the poor road network is affecting residents daily, particularly when they need to attend healthcare facilities in Dormabin or WoraWora. He stated that the rough road condition makes it difficult for vehicles to ply the route, causing inconvenience and delaying access to medical care.
