Bole-Bamboi: Nnaa Professor Lanjaagor Karley II, the Paramount Chief of Jama Traditional Area in the Bole-Bamboi District of the Savannah Region, has appealed to President John Dramani Mahama to create a separate district for the local people.

According to Ghana News Agency, the chief discussed his expectations from the government, highlighting the challenges faced by residents of Jama and nearby communities such as Bampewa, Bamboi, Jogboi, Carpenter, Tasilima, Jama, and Banda-Nkwanta. These residents often travel long distances to Bole, the district capital, to access essential services.

Nnaa Prof Karley II also raised concerns about the condition of the New-Longoro-Kintampo highway, urging the government to improve the road to facilitate movement and economic activities.

He extended his congratulations to President Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on their victory in the 2024 General Election, encouraging the government to enhance the socio-economic conditions of Ghanaians.

Nnaa Prof Karley II emphasized that the NDC's electoral success reflected the people's confidence in President Mahama and urged the government to focus on the nation's 'reset' agenda to improve economic prospects and achieve sustainable development.
