NLA Team Engages Volta Regional Minister on Development Initiatives

Accra: A delegation from the National Lottery Authority (NLA), led by Mr. Roland Kofi Mbui, Acting Director of Special Duties, has paid a working visit to the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC). The visit, held on Monday, August 18, formed part of the Authority's engagement with regional stakeholders to inspect facilities and explore avenues to support the region's 'reset agenda.'

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Mbui outlined some challenges faced by the Authority, particularly encroachment on NLA lands, and appealed for the cooperation of the VRCC in resolving such concerns. The Volta Regional Minister, Mr. James Gunu, commended the NLA for its continued support to the region, citing their recent GH?100,000 donation to victims of tidal waves as a timely intervention that provided relief to many affected households.

He assured the Authority of the Council's collaboration in addressing its challenges while encouraging the NLA to continue strengthening its partnership with the region. The NLA reaffirmed its commitment to national and local development through its Good Causes Foundation, the flagship vehicle for the Authority's corporate social responsibility initiatives.
