Accra: The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has officially launched its Adwumawura programme in the Oti Region. The programme aims to empower local entrepreneurs, particularly the youth, by providing them with the necessary skills, tools, and support to start and grow their businesses.
According to Ghana News Agency, the launch ceremony was attended by beneficiaries from all nine Municipal and District Assemblies in the Oti Region and marked the beginning of a new chapter in entrepreneurship development in the region. Participants underwent orientation and onboarding sessions, where they were introduced to the programme's goals, benefits, and implementation framework.
The Adwumawura programme is designed to provide participants with hands-on business management skills, innovation techniques, financial literacy, and access to mentorship. The programme's implementers are confident that it will contribute significantly to the region's economic transformation by creating a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The Oti Regional Directorate of NEIP, Mr. Eric Gidisu, encouraged all participants to remain dedicated and committed to the programme, emphasizing that consistency and hard work would be key to their success. With its strong focus on innovation, empowerment, and inclusive growth, Mr. Gidisu said the Adwumawura programme would become a cornerstone for economic development in the Oti Region.
