According to ghana news agency:ccording to Ghana News Agency, the inspection focused on evaluating infrastructure, operational capacity, and preparedness of the hubs to deliver vocational and entrepreneurial training to thousands of applicants under the Adwumawura Project. Miss Ahiawordor said the hubs had shown strong commitment to the project's objectives but underscored the need for improved infrastructure and logistics to meet implementation standards. She noted that the Volta Region placed fourth in terms of applications received nationwide, making it necessary to urgently reinforce capacity to accommodate the high demand.
Mr. Abibu assured that steps would be taken to identify and recommend additional hubs to improve access and regional coverage. "Under our guidance, we would not overlook any eligible applicant. Volta Region must become a beacon of youth-driven entrepreneurship, leading to local economic growth and national development through employment creation," he said.
The Adwumawura Project is a flagship NEIP initiative aimed at reducing youth unemployment by equipping participants with practical skills in entrepreneurship, as well as vocational and technical fields. The programme partners with accredited hubs across the country to provide hands-on training, enabling beneficiaries to launch businesses or gain employment. The first phase in the Volta Region is expected to train between 1,500 and 2,000 young people over the coming weeks.
