Ministry Suspends Use of Central Management System for National Service Authority

Accra: The Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment has announced the immediate suspension of the Central Management System (CMS) used by the National Service Authority (NSA). This decision arises from growing concerns regarding the current digital infrastructure employed by the NSA.

According to Ghana News Agency, the suspension follows a directive from the Office of the President. A statement released by the Ministry emphasized that the action was taken in the national interest to facilitate a thorough technical and forensic examination of the platform. The Ministry reassured the public, including National Service Personnel and stakeholders, that efforts are being made to ensure the Authority's operations remain uninterrupted.

The release further detailed that alternative systems and verification procedures are being considered to maintain efficient and transparent service delivery. It urged National Service Persons and the general public to remain calm and cooperative as relevant institutions carry out the necessary measures to protect the NSA's integrity. The Ministry promised to provide further updates in due course.
