Kyabobo National Park Hosts UDS Interns for Hands-On Conservation Experience

Accra: The Kyabobo National Park recently welcomed eight student interns from the University of Development Studies (UDS), Nyankpala Campus, Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Management for a hands-on conservation experience. The students participated in a six-week internship programme, which was a collaborative effort between the University and the Park.

According to Ghana News Agency, during their first week, the interns had the opportunity to interact with a Norwegian researcher and two Master's students who were working on thesis projects focused on beetle data collection and biodiversity monitoring. The interns expressed their intention to fully take advantage of the opportunity to enhance their knowledge acquisition in conservation and biodiversity management.
