Krachi East: Students Showcase Knowledge in Quiz Competition

Krachi East: The Ghana Education Service (GES) and the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) have organised a quiz competition across three circuits in the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region. The event aimed to commemorate the 68th Independence Day celebration by testing students' knowledge of the 1992 Republican Constitution.

According to Ghana News Agency, a total of 23 schools participated, with three schools from the Kwame Akura Circuit, 13 from the Dambai Circuit, and seven from the Oti Circuit. Students demonstrated their expertise in various subjects, including Science and Mathematics, History of Ghana, the 1992 Constitution, and current affairs.

Madam Sahadatu Salifu, Civic Education Officer, urged participants to study hard and uphold the 1992 Constitution. Madam Gyato Bernice, School Improvement Support Officer (SISO), thanked the organizers and encouraged participants to take the competition seriously.

After an intense contest, Kwame Akura M/A School, Dambai Lakeside M/A School, and DACE Demonstration School emerged as champions. Each circuit selected six participants to proceed to the Municipal-level competition at today's 68th Independence Day celebration.

The event showcased students' academic excellence, deepened their understanding of national issues, and demonstrated impressive analytical skills.
