Sampa: Mr George Adane, the President Nominee, has been confirmed as the Jaman North District Chief Executive (DCE) in the Bono Region. In an election conducted and supervised by the Electoral Commission at Sampa, the District capital, Mr Adane received 100 per cent approval from the 39-member Assembly.According to Ghana News Agency, the DCE thanked the Assembly Members for his overwhelming endorsement and stressed his readiness to embrace everybody in the development process of the district. Mr Adane emphasized that effective collaboration was required from all stakeholders to improve access to education and healthcare services, pledging to do more to create job opportunities for the youth in the area.He stated that responsive leadership and inclusivity would help bring the development of the district to the next level, stressing the need to promote entrepreneurship for rapid economic growth and development. Mr Adane advised the people to bury their differences and contribute to deepening security and pu blic safety for a strengthened peace and social cohesion.Justice Gabriel Martey-Teye, a High Court Judge in Sunyani, later took the DCE through the oaths of office, allegiance, and secrecy.
