Hohoe MCE Calls on Bank of Ghana to Enhance Support for Community Projects

Hohoe: Mr. Prosper Kumi, the Municipal Chief Executive of Hohoe, has called on the Bank of Ghana to address the developmental needs of Hohoe through its Corporate Social Responsibility activities. He emphasized that such contributions would not only aid the local community but also reflect the Bank's dedication to promoting sustainable development at the local level.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Kumi made this appeal during a visit to the Bank's office in Hohoe. The discussions during the visit highlighted essential areas requiring support, such as road infrastructure, sanitation, and vital social services. Mr. Kumi underscored the significance of strategic partnerships in fostering local development and expressed hope that the Bank would assist in overcoming some of the Municipality's challenges.

Mr. Victor Akakpo, the Volta Regional Manager of the Bank of Ghana, reassured the MCE that the issues raised had been acknowledged and would receive the needed attention. He also praised the Municipal Assembly for its efforts in mobilizing property rates to support the area's development.
