Ho Church of Pentecost Bids Farewell to Apostle Quampah

Accra: The Church of Pentecost, Ho Area, held a farewell service to honor Apostle Dr. Dela Quampah and his wife, Mrs. Comfort Dansoa Quampah, as they prepare to depart from the region after several years of dedicated ministry.

According to Ghana News Agency, the ceremony was marked by tributes led by Mr. James Gunu, the Volta Regional Minister, who highlighted the significant impact of Apostle Quampah's spiritual and community leadership. Mr. Gunu expressed his personal gratitude for the Apostle's 'faithful prayers and counsel,' which he credited with advancing his office's Reset Agenda for the Volta Region.

Addressing the congregation, Mr. Gunu noted, 'I stand before the congregation not just as a Regional Minister, but as a beneficiary of Apostle Quampah's faithful prayers and guidance,' and he requested the Apostle's continued spiritual support in his next endeavors. Mr. Gunu commended Apostle Quampah for his humility and caring nature, describing him as 'a true role model,' and encouraged the youth of the region to emulate his exemplary character.

Furthermore, Mr. Gunu highlighted the church's approach to pastoral transfers, urging civil servants to perceive transfers as opportunities for extended service rather than disruptions. 'This church teaches us that transfers are not disturbances, but calls to continuous service,' he remarked.

The Minister also reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between the church and the state, stating, 'My office is always ready to collaborate with all religious bodies for the development of our beloved Volta region and Ghana.' Concluding his address, Mr. Gunu wished Apostle and Mrs. Quampah 'God's richest blessings in their new chapter.'
