Ghanaians Urged to Trust God Only

Aburi: Apostle Kadmiel E.H. Agbelenyo, Founder and Leader of the Seventh Day Theocratic World Congregation, has called on Ghanaians to trust only God and not be misled by Satan, whom he described as a liar. He delivered this message during his sermon on the Sabbath Day at Otiakrom-Shallom near Aburi in the Eastern Region.

According to Ghana News Agency, Apostle Agbelenyo referenced the biblical story of Adam and Eve, noting that God had created them and placed them in the Garden of Eden with a specific command to eat all fruits except the one in the middle. He explained that God had warned Adam and Eve that eating from that particular tree would lead to death.

Apostle Agbelenyo further elaborated that Satan, disguised as a snake, deceived Eve by claiming that eating the forbidden fruit would make them as wise as God. Despite God's warning, Eve listened to the snake, ate the fruit, and shared it with Adam, leading to their realization of being naked.

The sermon emphasized that God confronted Adam and Eve about their disobedience, reiterating that their actions would lead to death because they had not adhered to His command. Eve admitted to God that she had been deceived by the snake into thinking that eating the fruit would make them like God.

Apostle Agbelenyo concluded that Satan's deceit is a warning against following falsehoods, as it can lead to dire consequences similar to those faced by Adam and Eve.
