Ghana to Battle Kenya and Nigeria at Africa Beach Volleyball Championships

Accra: Ghana is housed in Pool G of the 2025 Africa Senior Beach Volleyball Championships set for Morocco from June 23-30. Ghana will compete alongside Kenya and Nigeria in the male category of the competition. Ghana's Beach Volleyball team aims to be among the last four of the championships to qualify for the World Cup in Australia.

According to Ghana News Agency, in the female category, Ghana will face Egypt and Burundi in the seniors division. Meanwhile, in the female Under-21 level, they will compete against Rwanda, The Gambia, and Mozambique. The Black Spikers have already departed for the championship, where Ghana will participate in both the Seniors and Under-21 Championships.

The 2025 Africa Senior Beach Volleyball Championships is organized by the Confederation of Africa Volleyball (CAVB). The CAVB held a Technical Committee Meeting on Tuesday, June 24, to discuss the championship's modalities.
