Escaped Zebras Recaptured After Chase Through Munich

Munich: Two zebras have been recaptured in the southern German city of Munich after escaping from a circus. The city's integrated control centre received reports on Tuesday that the animals had been spotted near a primary school, a police spokesman said on Wednesday. A patrol was dispatched, but the zebras fled.

According to Ghana News Agency, later, the officers discovered that a circus was stationed nearby and deduced that the zebras probably belonged there, the police spokesman said. Circus employees then recaptured the animals. The zebras were finally escorted back to their enclosure escorted by a patrol car.
