Elder Bentum Encourages Faith Amid Challenges in 2025

TAKORADI: Mr. Joseph Bentum, the Presiding Elder of the Church of Pentecost, Salem Assembly, delivered a message of hope and resilience during his New Year's Eve sermon, urging Christians to maintain their faith in God as they enter 2025. Elder Bentum emphasized that despite potential challenges, God has plans for their well-being in the coming year.

According to Ghana News Agency, Elder Bentum's sermon, titled "Immanuel, God With Us," reassured the congregation of God's constant presence in their lives. He encouraged them to face the uncertainties of 2025 without fear, reminding them of God's promise to be with them even during difficult times. "The God of Joseph is our fortress," he declared, emphasizing that God would provide a path through any turbulence or trying situations.

Elder Bentum advised Christians to seek divine guidance and support in challenging moments, urging them to trust in God's ability to fulfill their desires. He referenced scripture, stating that strength alone is insufficient, and faith in God is essential. He encouraged the congregation to remain open to God's direction, assuring them that it would lead to their desired outcomes in 2025.

The watch night service included expressions of gratitude through songs of thanksgiving, praise, and worship, celebrating the successes of 2024 and the opportunity to welcome the new year with renewed faith.
