Accra: Mr. Samuel Yao Atidzah, Executive Director of GOSANET Foundation, emphasized that Easter presents an opportunity for youth to align with values that contribute to a brighter future. He highlighted the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a source of inspiration for a transformed life that honors one’s potential.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Atidzah advised the youth to adopt positive lifestyles, prioritize education, and pursue their dreams with discipline. He urged them to resist peer pressure and risky behaviors, which not only jeopardize their health and future but also undermine cherished community and Christian values.
Mr. Atidzah emphasized that true strength is found in self-control and making wise choices. He highlighted the negative impacts of sexual immorality, which include teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections like HIV, and the derailment of young people’s dreams. He encouraged reflection during Easter, reminding the youth of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice and urging them to live with purpose, integrity, and compassion.
He called on everyone to choose righteousness and discipline to positively transform communities and the nation. Mr. Atidzah assured that GOSANET Foundation is dedicated to promoting health and education in the Volta Region, supporting youth empowerment through knowledge, mentorship, and access to reproductive health services.
In concluding his message, Mr. Atidzah wished Ghanaians a happy Easter and encouraged acts of kindness by reflecting the love of Christ in their communities through visits and donations to the marginalized and poor.
