According to Ghana News Agency:ccording to Ghana News Agency, Mr Gunu made these remarks during a meeting with the heads of departments and agencies (MDAs) in the region. He urged all parties to pool their efforts to make the region the best investment destination. The minister highlighted that the performance of the heads of departments and agencies would be crucial in determining the region’s success, urging them to work diligently in implementing government policies to advance the region.
Mr Gunu addressed several immediate challenges he faced upon assuming office, including a water shortage affecting Ho and its environs, tidal waves at Keta, and the poor state of the Residency. He mentioned that mechanisms were being put in place to supply water to some departments and agencies using water tankers to alleviate the water crisis.
The heads of the various departments and agencies committed to providing the necessary support to the Minister in the execution of his duties.
