Accra: The Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC) has been urged to provide excellence in services while maintaining discipline in their professional development. Mr. Rockson Dogbegah, Executive Chairman of Bedrock Group of Companies, emphasized the crucial role administrators play in organizational development during the 25th annual opening conference of CIAMC.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Dogbegah highlighted that administrators could achieve excellence by adopting punctuality, good ethics, and a strong code of practice. The theme of the conference was 'Celebrating 25 Years of Excellence in Administration and Management Consultancy Practice'. He stressed the importance of lifelong learning and continuous improvement to deliver value and maintain relevance in the field.
He advised administrators to set clear goals aligned with long-term objectives and utilize tools like SWOT analysis and balanced scorecards. Furthermore, he encouraged human resource personnel and administrators to leverage artificial intelligence and adapt to new trends to drive innovation and meet international standards.
Mr. Dogbegah noted that skilled professionals contribute to effective job growth and should focus on client-centered satisfaction while implementing robust feedback mechanisms. He added that global markets demand high-quality services and innovative thinking, urging administrators to embrace global best practices and emerging technologies to stay ahead.
Ehunabobrim Prah Agyensaim, Board Chairman of CIAMC, emphasized that administration goes beyond formalities and involves creating societal impact. He charged administrators to be accountable to their clients for both organizational and personal growth.
Mrs. Hannah Ampomea Coffie, Deputy CEO of CIAMC, outlined the activities planned for the year, including workshops, seminars, community engagements, conferences, and consultancy sessions, among others.
