Atwima Nwabiagya North Parliamentary Candidates Unite for Collaborative Governance.

Atwima Nwabiagya North: Three Parliamentary Candidates (PCs) in the Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency of the Ashanti region have pledged to work collaboratively in their official duties if elected. Mr. Frank Yeboah of the NPP, a Chartered Accountant and Lawyer; Mr. Kandiire Joachim of the New Force, an entrepreneur; and Mr. Emmanuel Osei Gyamfi, a Senior Manager with the Ghana Health Services and an Independent Candidate, made this commitment during a parliamentary candidates’ dialogue held at Barekese.

According to Ghana News Agency, the event was organized by the District Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) to provide a platform for interaction between the four PCs in the constituency and the electorates. The dialogue was attended by supporters, Heads of Departments, security services, religious leaders, traditional rulers, artisans,
students, and other social groups. Attendees engaged with the candidates, posed questions, and shared concerns on key developmental issues affecting the area. The PCs presented their achievements and future plans in education, health, agriculture, economy, employment, and infrastructure, seeking support from the community.

Mr. Emmanuel Appiah, the District Director of NCCE, took the opportunity to educate the attendees, particularly first-time voters, on voting procedures and conduct, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the constituency’s history of incident-free elections. His teachings included demonstrations of the voting process, such as recognizing candidates’ pictures and symbols, and the proper way to handle ballots.
