Atebubu: The discovery of a lifeless body of a 44-year-old commercial sex worker in her room at Atebubu in the Bono East Region has thrown the area into a state of shock and disbelief. The police retrieved the lifeless body of the late Mavis Kwao in the early hours of Monday, October 27, 2028, and had since deposited it at the Atebubu Government Hospital mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
According to Ghana News Agency, though the cause of her death remained unknown for now, a reliable police source at Atebubu indicated that several bruises were found at the neck area. Some colleagues and co-tenants also reported that the tenants woke up to find the door to the room of the deceased half-opened, only to discover the lifeless body lying prostrate on her bed.
