Jasikan: Mr Mathias Komla Bassayi, the Assemblyman for the Nsuta West Electoral Area, has donated medical consumables and energy drinks to the management and staff of the Jasikan Municipal Hospital. This gesture was in recognition of the outstanding service and dedication exhibited by the hospital staff during his eight-week hospitalization.
According to Ghana News Agency, the donated items, which include bandages, gloves, pads, drinking water, and energy drinks, were valued at two thousand Ghana cedis (GH?2,000.00). Mr Bassayi presented these items at the hospital premises in the Jasikan, Oti Region. During the presentation, he expressed his gratitude, noting that as a patient, he experienced firsthand the dedication and professionalism of the entire hospital staff.
Mr Bassayi remarked, "From the moment I arrived, it is clear that patient care is your top priority." He highlighted the nurses' and doctors' patience and empathy, stating that their commitment and reassurance significantly impacted his recovery.
The hospital staff expressed their gratitude for the assemblyman's recognition. Mr Mathias Komla Bassayi, serving his second term as Assemblyman for the Nsuta West Electoral Area, was initially brought to the Jasikan Municipal Hospital after being knocked down by a car at Nsuta Junction.
