The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) has published the statistics of ballots for the 2024 General Election with a call on the public to trust the Commission to deliver on its mandate. The statistics is intended to guide the printing of the ballots for the December 7 elections.'In arriving at the ballot statistics, the Commission took into account the total number of voters on the 2024 provisional voters register plus a two per cent increase,' the EC said in a statement on Monday, October 14.The Commission expressed confidence that its methodology-the provision for two-per cent extra of total number of voters on the register-was adequate and would not lead to shortfalls or unnecessary wastage. The methodology has been used since 1992 for the printing of ballots, the EC said. The complete 2024 Ballot Statistics is available here for downloading:Source: Ghana News Agency
