Volta Regional Minister Engages School Feeding Caterers in Orientation Program

According to ghana news agency:ccording to Ghana News Agency, the session brought together caterers from districts including North Tongu, Adaklu, South Dayi, North Dayi, Hohoe, Kpando, Akatsi North, Afadzato South, Ho West, Ho Municipal, and Agotime Ziope. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Gunu emphasized that the caterers' work has a direct impact on the health and academic performance of pupils. He highlighted the government's commitment to social interventions and urged the caterers to prioritize fairness, dedication, and quality in their service. The Minister assured the caterers of ongoing government support to improve the programme and made a cash donation to the group, encouraging them to stay committed despite challenges.

Madam Fafa Agbai, the Volta Regional School Feeding Coordinator, expressed appreciation for the Minister's engagement. She noted that the orientation was aimed at enhancing the caterers' capacity to provide more nutritious and balanced meals. Despite challenges such as occasional delays in supplies affecting service delivery, she expressed optimism that the Minister's assurances would lead to improvements in the programme.
