Ukrainian President Proposes Extension of Martial Law and Mobilization to Parliament

Kiev: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted bills to parliament proposing a 90-day extension of both martial law and general mobilization. The measures, initially set to expire on August 7, would be prolonged until November 5 if approved.

According to Ghana News Agency, the parliament's press service confirmed that this marks the 16th extension of these measures since their initial implementation in February 2022. The extensions have been in response to the ongoing conflict with Russia.
