Tutukese Afahye 2025 Festival Launched in Assin Fosu

Assin fosu: The Chiefs and people of Affutuakwa Traditional Area have launched the 2025 Tutukese Afahye at a ceremony in the Assin Fosu Municipality of the Central Region. This year's festival, scheduled from Friday, December 12, to Monday, December 22, is themed 'Unity in Diversity Reconciling Affutuakwaman for Development.'

According to Ghana News Agency, Okumanini Baffour Asare Kyeahene II, the Paramount Chief of Affutuakwa Traditional Area, stated that the festival had been on hold for many years, and its re-launch marks an important cultural milestone, symbolizing a return to tradition and unity among the people. The festival will feature a variety of activities, including a quiz competition, traditional games, a beauty pageant, and a grand durbar of chiefs.

The Paramount Chief encouraged corporate organizations to support the town's development through sponsorship and to explore investment opportunities. He also called upon residents, both local and in the diaspora, to participate actively, ensuring that this year's festival is a memorable event.
