Tingawura: Tingawura (Chief of Tinga) Alhaji Samson Seidu Abudu has been elected Member of the Council of State representing the Savannah Region. He secured 11 votes out of the 14 votes cast, defeating three other contestants.

According to Ghana News Agency, Tingawura Alhaji Abudu is a respected traditional leader, experienced public servant, and a politician.
