Accra: The Church of Pentecost, Agorve District under the Sogakope Area in the Volta Region, has commenced this year's August Convention with a call on believers to rise to another level. Dubbed 'Eagles Conference 25', the event is themed 'Unleashed for Greater Heights,' inspired by the Book of Isaiah 40:31.
According to Ghana News Agency, Reverend Prosper Kpeli, the Agorve District Pastor of the Church, remarked after an evening service that a total of 14 assemblies under the district were participating in the event. The conference features both morning and evening sessions, focusing on teachings, deliverance, prophetic declarations, as well as praise and worship.
During a visit to the Agorve Central Auditorium on Wednesday night, the Ghana News Agency observed hundreds of Church members, including the youth, fully engaged in prayers and songs of worship. The Church's leadership expressed aspirations to become a Church whose members actively engage in possessing the nations through the application of Kingdom principles, values, and lifestyles, thereby turning many people to Christ.
The six-day gathering is scheduled to conclude on Sunday, August 24.
