Keta: The staff, students, and entire community of Keta Business College (KetaBusco) have welcomed Torgbui Tsili V of Atiavi Glime in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region. This occasion marked a significant milestone for both Torgbui Tsili and the extended KetaBusco family.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Mathias Dorglo, the Spokesperson for the Atiavi Glime Chief's delegation, introduced Torgbui Tsili to the staff and students. He urged everyone to collaborate for better development. Mr. Dorglo emphasized that the enstoolment of Torgbui Tsili V was a testament to the area's rich cultural heritage. This event highlighted the importance of blending modern education with traditional values, a balance KetaBusco has always maintained.
Mr. Dorglo stated that this development is expected to strengthen the bond between the college and the local community. He mentioned that Torgbui Tsili's enstoolment is set to play a pivotal role in the development of Atiavi Glime. His educational background and experience in community engagement position him as a catalyst for positive change. The community looks forward to his vision and leadership.
The introduction of Torgbui Tsili was also to officially inform the school authority about his new role following the passing of the previous chief 15 years ago. Mr. Dorglo cautioned that anyone who calls Torgbui Tsili by his private name would face consequences as per the cultural rules.
He urged school authorities and the public to support the chief and traditional leaders for local development. Madam Matilda Dzotepe, the Headmistress, described Torgbui Tsili as a dedicated and disciplined individual whose reign would bring success.
Torgbui Tsili pledged to blend educational and traditional roles for the benefit of all. He was also enstooled alongside Torgbui Hatsu V. With nine years of experience as a physical education tutor, Torgbui Tsili is well-equipped to lead and inspire his community.
