Accra: SIC Insurance PLC has paid an insurance claim of GHS 1,541,446.19 to GCB Bank PLC. The claim fell under GCB's Blanket Policy.
According to Ghana News Agency, the cheque was presented to Mr. Socrates Afram, Deputy Managing Director (Finance) of GCB Bank, at a ceremony held at the bank's head office. Mr. James Agyenim-Boateng, Acting Managing Director of SIC Insurance PLC, expressed appreciation for the bank's longstanding relationship with SIC.
He highlighted SIC's financial strength and timely claim payments, urging the business community to consider SIC as a reliable partner. Mr. Agyenim-Boateng also noted recent significant claim payments made by SIC, including over a million dollars to a client in Accra and $780,000 to a company in Tema.
Mr. Socrates Afram, representing GCB Bank, acknowledged the mutually beneficial relationship with SIC, emphasizing the value of their partnership.
