Atebubu: The Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has inducted the executives of the Atebubu District Young Adult Fellowship (YAF) and the Grace Local Young Peoples Guild (YPG) into their respective offices.
According to Ghana News Agency, the YAF has appointed Brother Alex Kwau Aborah as President and Sister Helina Nketiah as Vice President. Additional members of the YAF leadership include Brother Nicholas Awuah Baffour as Secretary, Brother Philip Antwi as Assistant Secretary, Brother Jacob Amanfo as Organizer, Sister Cecilia Frimpong as Women Organizer, Sister Esther Nyamekye Gyau as Treasurer, and Brother Patrick Aboagye as Chaplain.
The YPG leadership is composed of Brother Nana Poku Cassious as President, Kingsley Kwabena Anane as Vice President, Mathew Agyina as Secretary, Emmanuel Kyere as Assistant Secretary, George Akwasi Antwi as Prayer Secretary, Christiana Akyere as Financial Secretary, Sarah Kumah as Treasurer, Wajah Nkalebe as Male Organizer, and Lucy Kanyeti Mahama as Female Organizer.
Speaking at the induction ceremony in Atebubu, Reverend Daniel Okyie Anokye, the Atebubu District Minister of the PCG, emphasized the importance of persistence in prayer, noting that it draws God's attention and favor. Rev. Anokye encouraged Christians to maintain their prayer life consistently, not only during challenging times, as it deepens faith and builds trust in God.
Rev. Anokye also urged the newly inducted executives to serve the Church with humility and to remain steadfast in their prayers.
