KMA Clinic Resumes Operations After Temporary Closure by HeFRA

Kumasi: The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Clinic has resumed operations following a temporary closure by the Health Facilities Regulatory Authority (HeFRA) over licensing issues.

According to Ghana News Agency, HeFRA closed the facility on Tuesday, October 14, as part of its enforcement exercise aimed at addressing health facilities operating within the Kumasi Metropolis without proper licenses. The closure was initiated due to licensing discrepancies, which have since been resolved between the Assembly and HeFRA.

A statement issued by the KMA, and copied to the Ghana News Agency, assured the public of the facility's commitment to delivering quality and reliable healthcare services to the residents of the Metropolis. The statement also extended apologies for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure and expressed appreciation for the cooperation and understanding of all stakeholders involved.
