Mysterious Disappearances in Adumadum Spark Concerns

Accra: Residents of Adumadum in the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region have urged security agencies and other stakeholders to thoroughly investigate a series of mysterious disappearances in their community. The concerns are valid, given the alarming circumstances surrounding these incidents.

According to Ghana News Agency, Ms. Patience Naabin, a resident of Adumadum, along with others, revealed that in November of last year, a farmer returned home without his farmhand, raising suspicion among community members. The suspect allegedly involved in the farmhand's disappearance is still at large, with others walking freely without any apparent action taken against them. This has contributed to a sense of unease and silence within the community.

More recently, a palm wine tapper went missing in his village, prompting an extensive search operation scouring the bush for nearly two weeks, but so far, without success. The people of Adumadum are therefore calling for justice and transparency in the investigation of these disappearances.

They want security agencies to take immediate action to uncover the truth behind these incidents and ensure that those responsible are held accountable. The community's concerns are understandable, and it's essential that the authorities take these incidents seriously. A thorough investigation is necessary to bring closure to the families of the missing individuals and to restore peace of mind in the community.
