Local GNAT Chairman Urges Continued Learning and Responsible Behavior During Vacation

Adidome: As the second term draws to a close, parents, students, and teachers have been urged to continue to make reading materials available to students to keep them busy for the short holiday.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Stanley Agbozo, Chairman of the Adidome Local Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), emphasized the importance of continued learning and responsible behavior during the upcoming break. He advised parents to remain vigilant and ensure that their children engage in learning activities during the vacation, highlighting that children represent the future of the state.

Mr. Agbozo encouraged parents to provide their children with extra reading materials to reinforce the lessons learned in school. He also advised students to take care of themselves, revise school lessons, respect their parents and guardians, and steer clear of social vices, including drug abuse and negative peer influence, which could detract from their educational focus.

Expressing gratitude to his fellow teachers for their dedication during the second term, Mr. Agbozo encouraged them to use the break to upgrade their skills and prepare for the next academic session. He stressed the importance of professional development to ensure quality education delivery.
