Kpassa: The Paramount Chief of Kpassa, Ubor Tassan Konja VI, has urged the public to disregard claims by one Nana Ayeng Anebo II, asserting that he is the Kpassa-Wura. The Chief and Elders of Kpassa Traditional Council have dismissed Nana Anebo's claims as baseless, provocative, and misleading.
According to Ghana News Agency, Ubor Tassan Konja VI emphasized in a statement that he is the rightful chief of Kpassa and urged residents of the Oti enclave to be cautious of misinformation. The statement referred to Ubor Tassan Konja IV as the authentic overlord of Kpassa.
The statement further noted that Ubor Tassan Konja IV is recognized as a peace maker, and the traditional council is committed to resolving the issue amicably. The chiefs and elders plan to officially visit the Oti Regional Minister on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, to address any doubts.
The Kpassa Traditional Council has called on the public to reject Nana Anebo's claims as Kpassa Wura. The situation is expected to be clarified after the meeting with stakeholders, including the Oti Regional Minister.
