Tel aviv: At least 33 people have been killed by Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip since early Monday, medics said. Hospital sources reported that 24 of the deaths occurred in Gaza City, where Israel is continuing its air and ground assault against the Hamas militant group.
According to Ghana News Agency, the Israeli military stated that it has maintained its operations against militants across the Gaza Strip and has heightened its offensive in Gaza City, which it refers to as the last stronghold of Hamas. The military confirmed that troops on Sunday eliminated members of armed groups who were attempting to plant explosives. Additionally, the Israeli Navy announced that it had destroyed a Hamas weapons depot.
The military also mentioned a separate attempted attack from Gaza, indicating that two projectiles were fired toward Israel but failed to reach their target.
