Keta: Mr. Wisdom Seade, the Keta Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), has announced that the government has released sufficient funds to complete and initiate several developmental projects in the communities. The projects include the renovation of the Anlo-Afiadenyigba market shed, which has been finalized, while efforts on the PWD premises and school infrastructure at Abor are ongoing.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Seade shared these updates during a thank you tour by NDC party Chairman Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia in Keta. He praised the government for its initiatives aimed at enhancing infrastructure development within the municipality. He also mentioned that the construction of the CHPS compound at Tengekope would soon commence, and the completion of Anyako water works is expected to alleviate water challenges in the area.
Mr. Seade expressed gratitude to President Mahama for the Big Push initiative, which has prioritized significant road projects in the Keta municipality, including roads from Anlo-Afiadenyigba to Weta, Bolove-Nolopi, and Sasieme, among others, to facilitate smooth transportation.
Additionally, he appealed for the completion of various GETFUND projects within the municipality. These projects, at different stages of completion, are crucial for the seamless and successful operation of local institutions.
