Friends of Adaklu to Organize One-Day Workshop for CCPC Members

The workshop is a part of FOA's five-year project aimed at protecting children who are at risk of losing parental care. The organization receives support from the Norwegian government through SOS Children's Villages. The training is designed to build the capacity of Community-Based CPCs, Assembly members, and Unit Committee members, enabling them to promote child safety and well-being at the local level effectively.

The letter further mentioned that the training would focus on practical approaches to case management and strategies to incorporate community norms for better protection of children. In addition, there will be a one-day joint training workshop for members of District Child Protection Committees and Regional Child Protection Committee members at the same venue on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. This event is under the auspices of SOS Village and the Department of Children, aiming to enhance coordination, capacity building, and collaboration among stakeholders in child protection issues in the Volta region to create a safe environment for all children.
