According to Ghana News Agency, Dr. Bawumia joined the Catholic Community in Ghana and worldwide to mourn the loss, offering condolences. He described Pope Francis as ‘a man of unwavering peace and compassion’ who lived a life characterized by inclusiveness and humility, admired globally.
Reflecting on his personal encounter with Pope Francis, Dr. Bawumia recounted a visit a year prior, noting the remarkable impression the Pope left on him, emphasizing a life lived with purity and righteousness. He expressed hope that the Pope’s legacy would inspire others to pursue their individual purposes.
