Lambussie: Mr Naawulle Ireneous Basingbie, the Lambussie District Chief Executive (DCE) nominee, has appealed to Assembly Members to endorse his nomination to pave the way for development in the area. He emphasized that his confirmation would enable the district to implement development initiatives, driving progress and growth.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Basingbie is committed to boosting the district's growth by focusing on agriculture, health, and education. He highlighted these sectors as crucial for the district's development, noting improvements seen in other regions with similar priorities. He pledged to enhance agricultural productivity and food security through sustainable practices and modern techniques, stressing agriculture's role as the backbone of the country's development.
Mr. Basingbie also stated his commitment to developing educational infrastructure, promoting quality education, and increasing access to resources. He indicated plans to partner with Professor Titus Kofi Beyuo, the Member of Parliament for Lambussie, to advance the district's health agenda.
Mr. Basingbie assured Assembly Members that his administration would prioritize transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in addressing residents' needs. He promised to collaborate with members across electoral areas to tackle challenges and drive growth.
Expressing gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for the appointment, Mr. Basingbie viewed it as an opportunity to serve the people of Lambussie.
