Christians Encouraged to Maintain Faith for a Prosperous 2025

KETA: Christians in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region have been encouraged to place their faith and hope in God as they enter the new year, rather than relying on human strength alone. The call for continuous prayer and unity among believers was emphasized for a successful 2025.

According to Ghana News Agency, Evangelist Prosper Gbogbogah, leader of the Alta of Jesus Christ Ministry International in Keta, delivered a sermon during the December 31 crossover service, urging believers to support one another in times of need. Evangelist Gbogbogah reminded the congregation that despite uncertainties, God remains a constant source of hope and promise. "He is the same God who has been faithful to us in the past, and He will continue to be faithful to us in the future," he stated.

Evangelist Gbogbogah highlighted the significance of faith as the cornerstone of the Christian life, encouraging trust in God's goodness and provision even when faced with challenges. He stressed that faith is more than mere emotion; it is a deliberate choice to trust in God daily, regardless of circumstances. "Faith is not just a feeling or an emotion, it is a choice and it is a decision to trust in God, no matter what," he noted.

The message was delivered to a large congregation gathered to reflect on the past year and pray for a prosperous 2025. Congregants engaged by the Ghana News Agency expressed optimism for the year ahead. The service concluded with prayers and worship as attendees sought divine guidance and blessings, celebrating the new year with cheers and applause at midnight, symbolizing hope and fresh beginnings.
