Children Urged to Strengthen Bonds with Fathers

Sunyani: Apostle Bismarck Siaw, the Resident Pastor of the Sunyani Estate branch of the Living Grace Ministry, has called upon children to cultivate stronger relationships with their fathers. He emphasized that fatherhood holds a divine status, and it is crucial for families to acknowledge and respect the dignity associated with it.According to Ghana News Agency, Apostle Siaw delivered this message during a sermon themed 'Importance of Honouring and Respecting Fathers' at a church service organized to celebrate Father's Day in Sunyani. He highlighted that the blessings from a father can bring joy and prosperity to his children, encouraging families to appreciate and respect fathers, despite their actions or inactions.Apostle Siaw also stressed the importance of first honoring God as the Almighty and heavenly Father, creator, and giver of life. He acknowledged that while some earthly fathers might not be perfect, they still deserve respect from their children. He urged families and children who have had co nflicts with their fathers to practice humility, seek forgiveness, and reconcile, noting that respecting fathers is an inherently divine act.Further, Apostle Siaw encouraged children to demonstrate loving-kindness, care, and prioritize the welfare of their fathers. He drew parallels to God's caring nature and His constant forgiveness of sins and trespasses. He also called on fathers who have neglected their parental duties to repent and fulfill their responsibilities.
